Bissouma. Comfortably. Bissouma mobility and suppleness gives him a huge advantage over Rice. It means you can give Bissouma the ball at any angle and he will open the game up. Rice still struggles massively to receive and turn fluidity. Not technically but athletically.
We can confirm the departure of Yves Bissouma following the conclusion of his contract.
Thank you for your service and all the best for the future, Biss 🤍

Arteta is the opposite from that pov
He knew Pep had killed the league and how he killed it (this isn't to say Pep was dismissive of the nature of the league)
Arteta just embraced the roots of the league and won the league against him
Insulting the league before even winning it is definitely something
Who are you to talk about a league's culture and how it should be despite not winning it? Those privileges aren't even given to multiple time winners
Cesc #Fabregas a The Athletic: “In #SerieA non si attacca, non c’è struttura o stile. E comprano giocatori senza che l’allenatore li conosca. Vincere in Italia è difficile. Ci sono molti 0-0 e 1-0: le squadre cercano di annullarti difendendo e pressando, non attaccando…”. #Como
Couldn't dare to watch it in real time
Saka Euros pen, Nelli Sporting pen all flashed before my eyes and i just couldn't watch
Turned away and just prayed he smashed it and boy he did
The issue with Arsenal’s approach wasn’t that they decided to remain zonal rather than press man-to-man like Bayern in settled sequences. That was actually the best strategic decision Arteta made and ultimately got the game to penalties.
The concern was the severe lack of solutions in deep buildup, where Arsenal repeatedly went long despite having a numerical overload.
Even if you want to go long, doing so when you have an overload in buildup means you will have numerical inferiority against the PSG defensive line, essentially making it a lot less effective. It would have made much more sense for Arsenal to play a few short passes to bait the pressure, allow PSG to commit touch-tight in a man-to-man situation, and then go long into numerical parity rather than inferiority.
Arsenal were about as good as it is practically possible to be out-of-possession, but there was nothing substantial in-possession. It is something Arsenal have consistently struggled with throughout the season in the bigger games. There is a severe lack of deep buildup solutions, whether against man-to-man or zonal presses.
There are great examples such as Rennes, Monaco, and Chelsea under Maresca, teams with less quality than Arsenal, that threatened PSG far more through their buildup solutions while maintaining out-of-possession solidity, and ultimately managed to beat them.

We got so much schtick when we finished 8th
They literally said we were finished as a big club
Nowadays United can finish 15th, Chelsea can finish 10th, Spurs can flirt with relegation all the time, Liverpool can finish with 60 pts after spending 500 mn and everything's fine

Mental how little has been made of Chelsea finishing 10th. Not sure it’s registered how insane that is. TENTH! Arteta with Cedric, Holding, Pablo Mari, Ceballos, Pepe etc never sunk that low. Their midfield duo cost a combined €237m alone.
Arsenal defender William Saliba (25) could be out for several weeks after aggravating an existing injury in Saturday's UCL final. The FFF are concerned about the state of the France international, whose World Cup participation could be compromised. (FM)
