I am a Volleyball coach & teacher with a nice sideline in DJ'ing and Quizmastering. Enquire with a DM - you never know I might be available for your event!
@cleanupbritain I know people have mentioned that lack of bins and made the political point of lack of funding. Of course that's what I think of when I throw my litter on the floor rather than taking it home when a bin is full. Oh no that's right...I don't do that because I'm not a t**t!
@ChrisHewitt Mine is just full of right wing racist political lies. Can you please send some of yours my way? (Particularly how to dispose of a body or at least how to remove blood stains from a meat grinder!)
@ATRightMovies I seem to be seeing more and more trailers in the last 10 years saying 'From the Producers of...' as if it'll be a sign of quality. Why? From the associated films it often really feels like it's not such a sign. Why is this 'the new normal'? Thoughts
@OllyMetcalfe @UKLabour There is a difference though. Each of the options you speak of are not just generally available to the richer in society. There are exceptions but the vast majority of those who send kids to Private School can afford the VAT. Thats not the same in the examples you give
@gllnkk@CommonsEd Here's a thought though. These parents have the same choice they always did. State school is free, Private school costs money (but now it costs more). How can you sue if you still have a choice to pay or not? I won't sue Tesco because I chose to go there rather than Aldi
@J_Bloodworth Average house price in Colchester is £317,000 x 60 = 19 million. Erm....I'd be selling and going and buying a small houseboat in the Bahamas!
@DavidDavisMP And can we have full disclosure as to whether your own kids or grandkids go to Private School (obviously don't disclose where) and therefore biasses this opinion you have?
@DavidDavisMP So what percentage of Private School attendees come from families who have 'scrimped and saved'. Only 7000 pupils in Private school (1%) are from disadvantaged families. So the vast majority of parents (not all admittedly) of private school kids won't even notice the VAT applied
@clashpod Surely you would throw Dracula (1992) in there and The Mummy (2017) as trilogy clashes! We know the Pod won't be back but keep this feed going for us PLEASE. And we'd appreciate your daily thoughts on these clashes as a starter to that. Much less time consuming than a full Pod
@KirstieMAllsopp Genuine question. If they have special needs why do they not have an EHCP? And being honest that statement by the ISC is politically weighted in itself. The children won't be subject to VAT - very emotive phrasing. Their parents will have to pay it
@BellaWallerstei Dont be under the illusion, as the Conservatives would have you think, that the majority of Private School parents have scrimped and saved for their kids school fees. The vast majority of those who go to Private School can easily afford to pay the school price hikes from VAT
