Embark on a transcendent journey in the heart of Peru's Amazon rainforest and transform your approach to how you Lead.
Are you ready to Lead From The Deep?
This quote was a powerful one which I heard only once but still rings resoundingly in my head more than 20 years after I first heard it.
One of the more common causes of suffering for humans is this illusory need to compare ourselves with others as if we all started at the same time and are all running the same race.
We are not (even if we are on the same career path).
There seems to be a need to rush through life to reach some imaginary finish line.
Just a quick tip here: There IS no finish line.
Life presents you with chances to mature and develop at every stage, and this continuing personal evolution may be the very purpose of our existence.
In the end, shortcuts, insignificant comparisons, and choosing not to accept what is, will lead you no closer to deeply learning and gaining the experience YOU need to truly transcend to the next level of what you are pursuing.
Thank you Mike Hayes.

You have to at some point, train the will in order to transcend into a more powerful existence.
Not everyone is ready and this is true for all kinds of reasons. Some need more time to heal, or some may simply need more time to come to understand this for themselves. However, at some point in this life-if possible- you CAN come to the point that the only way through the resistance-whatever it is- is to simply do the hard thing and that is to train the Will. Simple-not easy.
It is of course the mind that prevents transcendence or rather, the vehicle necessary for transcendence and it does so by providing distractions such as "knowing" or the need to be comfortable.
When you are ready, you have the option to release the need for comfort and the illusion of knowing and begin the training of sovereignty over your life by leaning toward curiosity and trading comfort for discomfort in the pursuit of growth.
The question then is: How?
Common contemporary approaches to developing the Will include self-shaming, anger, toxic competition, anger, and a multitude of additional egoic tactics to pursue a more sovereign state of existence. I have even heard that these options are, "the only way."
Happily, I offer another way, regardless of what some say: Step into your power using love, acceptance, non-resistance, and higher vibrational energy as your fuel to transcendence.
The picture above is a collection of frozen water photographs taken when the water is directly exposed to certain energy or spoken words. This study was conducted by Dr Masaru Emoto which he highlights in his book, The Hidden Messages of Water. Now, consider that most believe the human body is made up of anywhere between 60-80% water. What might the molecular structure of water look like in your body?
For example, imagine what your molecular structures look like when you force yourself out of bed to go for a run because otherwise you would be a lazy scum bag and the rest of the winners are out there doing it so you better do it or else you will be a loser.
Yes, this is a way people use to "better" themselves but it's using shame, hate, and discontent as their fuel for growth. Imagine training for a race eating only McDonalds. Possible? Yes. Optimal? Nuh-uh.
There is another way to train and prepare the Will for whatever it is you want to do in life and that is by using love, acceptance, and non-resistance as your fuel to run, or surf, or whatever you want in life.
I "GET" to go run because I am alive, and it makes me feel better when I am finished!
You have the opportunity to use THIS as your fuel for life.
When you are ready, begin the deliberate process of training the Will and when you do, you have the option to do so through loving the self and higher vibrational states of consciousness.
There is a common saying, “True hell is experienced when the person you are meets the person you could have been.”
I think this is true in a way, but not in the way most people think.
Fully and suddenly embodying the true potential that exists within humans would break everyone I know, myself included. We have the potential for power beyond measure, but for the vast majority of us, we simply haven't built the supporting muscles necessary to carry that type of potential - yet.
Consider that the holes created in rock formations along the coast are not forged in a day or in a single human lifetime. These beautiful works of art are created drop by drop over the course of thousands of years.
If the quote above were true as I think it is meant to be understood, that would mean that everyone I know, myself included, are all living in the midst of perpetual hell because the potential to do more is ALWAYS there.
If I AM in hell, I'm not entirely sure what the big deal is. I can say that mine is a beautiful existence and if this is truly hell, is it just another word for "mostly awesome?" My guess is no. I think there is a type of hell and the quote above isn't truly it, but it is in a way.
As far as I can tell, experiencing hell is not the idea of seeing the self for what it could have been; instead, it is the burden of the shame and non-acceptance that lies within the quote that some might consider to be hell. Or in other words, suffering for something that is naturally taking place as it is designed.
In my estimation, we aren't meant to be great, we are meant to continually grow, which is great in and of itself and to some - leads to what they think is great.
Maybe instead of attaching or aligning to the above quote, you may prefer instead:
"I am exactly as I am and that is in and of itself perfect."
There, see? No more hell and you are continuing to grow anyway. Of course, this level of genuine acceptance is also an element of human potential that some are not yet ready to carry.
If this level of acceptance feels right to you but you don't know how to exist in that space, there are ways to honestly and genuinely come to this level of alignment without the cloud of faking it 'til you make it.
In order to come to this level of self-acceptance and powerful peace, it has to be true to your core for it to stand the test of ego, fear, and doubt.
Is it your time to slowly and honestly learn to drop shame at your feet and walk away absolutely free and thereby, more powerful than you have ever been?
Change is expensive, uncomfortable, and the path is sometimes not altogether clear. Usually, these factors lead to endless do-overs, inefficient budget spending, and ineffective training programs. This mindset is akin to addiction and keeps teams in an endless spiral, leaving them right where they have always been - no closer to their true potential.
For change to happen, the want has to be there in the first place.
If you aren't committed to the change you know is required to attain the next level of performance, that is okay. Maybe the best thing for yourself at the moment is to focus on rewiring your mind to simply want change.
When the want is genuinely there, it becomes easier to reconfigure budgets, time investment, and energetic focus.
With a genuine commitment to change, leaders and organizations can finally unleash their teams toward performing at the levels they are actually capable of.
