There have been no substantive updates about what’s going on with him at any point in this process. It’s time for transparency.

Mitch McConnell has likely suffered an anoxic brain injury following a period of cardiac arrest. He is brain dead; especially if he doesn't make a statement today. I only wish he had he had lived longer. He should have to witness the final 2 years of trump.

That the EMS call mentions an unconscious patient may suggest he didn't get immediate bystander chest compressions prior to EMS arrival (very bad sign). If he had a pulse when EMS arrived then coded is a way better situation.

McConnell at this point is likely brain dead on a vent. Paramedics doing CPR on him means he was in fact in cardiac arrest. Out of hospital cardiac arrest in an 84 year old man is associated with poor outcomes. an anoxic brain injury is very likely unless EMS got ROSC quickly

Just asked Mitch McConnnell's office for any health updates, including whether he's conscious. He reportedly had a heart attack on June 14th and was discovered unconscious at his house.

A McConnell spokesperson shared the same comment they put out on July 2, w/ no details.
