The hypocrisy of the leftie “refugees welcome”
Brigade knows no bounds.
They go on their anti-racism marches with their pink hair, virtue-signalling with their “fight fascism” placards, saying things like “there’s no such thing as an illegal human”. But when they are given the option of housing one themselves, suddenly they don’t have the space, or claim they would but their tenancy agreement won’t permit it.
Judging everyone else for their views, whilst fervently avoiding any opportunity to back up their words with actions.
Hypocrites the lot of ‘em.
@BasilTheGreat@GBNEWS What nutcase would put themselves at risk allowing an undocumented male from a foreign culture, with no knowledge of their background or potential criminal/terrorism record, to live with them? My safety and that of my family is worth far more than £350 a month.
@benonwine Just going to leave these here. The facts speak for themselves.
Keir Starmer’s final acts as PM, predictably, are to try and gaslight the nation….
In the background, I suspect he will be doing everything he can to cover his tracks, redact documents, and make sure the enquiry uncovers nothing that could implicate his turning a blind eye to things going on in his city.
If it comes out that he knew about rape gangs in London, and acted deliberately to facilitate them, either through willful negligence or complicit silence, he should be stripped of his office and his knighthood.
@Heccles94 Explain how there is a high tax burden on low earners? The top 1% of earners pay tax at 45% and account for over 1/3 of the total income tax take by the treasury.
I do agree with your point about tax money being squandered though.
@ArchRose90 Lucy Connelly was sentenced to 31 months for a tweet. 3.5 years for assault and battery of 3 people, as well as resisting arrest with violent force, feels disproportionately lenient in that context.
Why on earth are they allowed to roam freely, when they have entered the country illegally and we have no idea who they are, or whether they pose a danger to British citizens??!
Anyone entering the country illegally should be detained, and kept under lock and key until we can identify them and do comprehensive background checks.
NOT bussed into our town centres every day, at taxpayers expense, given free money and left all day unsupervised to do whatever they want!
@FarlaneTeri@premnsikka It’s just a bit of fun.
Still, the fact you bit back shows how easily triggered people can be these days.
Closing your ears to alternative views.
Blocking people who see the world differently to you.
Typical leftie.
Enjoy your echo chamber.
Surely Be.EV & Iduna Infrastructure should have been excluded from tendering on the basis of a conflict of interest compromising the impartiality of the bid process?
How can independence and value for money for the taxpayer be assured when government contracts are dished out to family members?
This is cronyism, pure and simple… the exact thing Labour MPs used to accuse the Tories of constantly.
Sadiq Khan is an absolute disgrace.
Lied about pollution stats to justify expanding his anti-motorist ULEZ vanity project.
Denied the existence of grooming gangs in London, rather than risk angering his Muslim community.
Wasting taxpayers money trying to cover up the truth about his city’s abysmal crime stats.
His knighthood makes a mockery of the honours system.
What business in their right mind would lobby to keep Rachel Reeves as chancellor?
Her NI hike has driven up costs for employers everywhere, fueled inflation, and pushed youth unemployment to its highest rate in 12 years.
Her business rates hikes threatened to send the UK hospitality industry into an irrecoverable slump.
581,000 businesses in the UK have gone bust since Labour came to power, thanks to Reeves’ anti-business policies.
UK commerce has paid the price for her incompetence. If she thinks big businesses will trumpet her qualities to Andy Burnham, she’s living in a fantasy land.

Britains national debt now sits at just a smidge under £3trillion.
It is growing by over £5,000 per second.
the UK's debt as a share of GDP has tripled over the last 25 years—the fastest rise in the world for any major economy, outpaced only by Botswana.
We cannot borrow more. Full stop.
The only way to fund infrastructure projects is to cut spending, and to stimulate economic growth through cuts to taxation.
End all taxpayer net zero subsidies.
From EVs to heat pumps… if they were any good, the public would buy them by choice, and not need them mandated on them by regulation designed to hit an arbitrary target.
If the green energy opportunity is so investable, innovation in green tech will fund itself.
Oh right, brilliant… Nissan wants UK taxpayers to subsidise it because it can’t sell enough EVs to hit government targets and avoid a fine.
Taxpayers should never subsidise Net Zero business models or underwrite products consumers don’t want!
There’s no taxpayer benefit 🤡
Of course she does 🙄 Britains welfare bill is already £333bn. Even accepting that c. 55% of that is the state pension, that’s still £155bn every year we are spending on welfare!
We need to bring the welfare bill down… reduce the number of working age people unemployed and living at the taxpayers expense, stop extending state support to those who have never paid a penny into the system in their lives, and declassify things like ADHD as mental health disorders worthy of incapacity benefits.
The welfare system should be a temporary safety net. For many under this Labour government, it has become a long-term lifestyle choice.
If Burnham has any sense, he will want to create as much distance between himself and the disastrous Starmer administration as possible.
Inevitably, this will mean Rachel From Accounts (certainly) and likely a number of other high profile cabinet members will lose their positions.
The problem is, if Reeves, Lammy, Rayner etc. are the best the party has to offer, what shower of sh*te will he appoint to replace them??
