@SolverZombie@Cyberlord1109@DerMankey Ofc not. But I think small signs of a character’s mindset heading in a better direction can work in place of this to suggest future progress
@sloppywater@Lust_If_Peak An intro course can’t really assume what you know. Now more advanced ones that specify prior knowledge I wouldn’t argue with you on that
@sloppywater@Lust_If_Peak Easy to spot in the context of other literature. It’s how you may introduce those concepts, but without ANY foundation then yeah you would be confused
@atoms_x_@inputcable@ScandalousSnake@bakedbananners1 Style is not only the coloring bro. The anatomy and lineart was way more generic in season 1. Season 2 and the movie are way more in tune with fujimoto’s actual drawings like the angles of the faces he draws for example
@sloppywater@Lust_If_Peak That’s not why classes are based off him though. Maybe it’s not always a particularly shocking plot, especially not anymore, but the techniques he uses to tell the story are pretty easy to spot and are foundational to a lot of what came after. It’s just great for teaching
@sloppywater@Lust_If_Peak i fucking hate when people say this because every time I’ve ever read one of his works I expect this to be the case and then it’s just not true. Like he’s just actually really good
@jui_cyapple That doesn’t inherently mean it’s filler though. TADC COULD’VE done all of this in 9 episodes. It’s just paced horribly. That being said, I’d much rather there be filler if it means the characters actually all get some good development, which didn’t happen here 😭
@OfficialMTM101 if the pacing is kept as it is right now then yeah. But this absolutely could’ve been done in 9 if the pacing was better in the first place
@esstee_jay@partridge52721@coffindwellers Well that’s very true, but if they were going to keep this pacing i’d at least rather have more of these episodes than less because it went so fast at the end for no reason
@SleazeRanger123@Mbyll139012@ToonHive I like that we don’t see it, but it just happens right away. There’s definitely more stuff they could’ve done in between the time we last see jax and then we see him abstracted. I feel it ends up not being as shocking because there’s not a lot of time to create that tension
