If you read Lincoln’s Second Inaugural and Biden’s speech today you will understand the difference between greatness bringing us together and a mean spirited vicious partisan hack trying to drive a deeper wedge in the country he is supposed to lead.

Jesus went from the throne of Heaven to a feeding trough. He went from the presence of angels into a cave or stable filled with animals. He who was larger than the universe became an embryo. The Almighty appeared on earth as a helpless human baby.

But don’t let anything or anyone become more important to you than God. It’s better to succeed in God’s eyes and fail in the world’s eyes. Nothing is more important than pleasing the Lord. Make that number one in your life.
