@laurenTarshis My 8th graders struggle with anything to do with the American Revolution. So if we can get kids reading more about this well before 8th grade then they will something to connect their new learning to when they get to 8th grade history. PS my students LOVE your books!

@ToshMcGaughy This is alarming! I’m wondering what 3 &4th are doing differently to increase their scores. I’m curious what the SCRs scores are looking like for each content Is there a correlation?
@nikkigrimes9 I would consider you an expert in verse. I used “Two of a Kind” in a workshop for students about what using dialogue in poetry. The kids copied your craft move & used dialogue to develop conflict, setting, and character traits with very little promoting. They are now a fan
