These days, there is a new AI LLM model coming out every month—whether it’s Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT. But the interesting thing is that when comparing these models, each company presents their model as more powerful than the others; sometimes, even though another model may be slightly more powerful or capable than the new model, they still present themselves as the best. Although the issue of optimizing intellectual capacity or effectiveness depends on various factors, it is true that most major companies use such marketing tactics.

If Starlink wishes to enter the Indian market, it must make certain adjustments tailored to India's specific geographical context. For instance, there are concerns regarding potential data leakage in sensitive border areas due to the nature of satellite systems; therefore, in the interest of national security, they should collaborate with ISRO and DRDO to develop specialized systems specifically for India. They also need to focus on disaster management capabilities. As for pricing, I do not believe they would charge the same high rates in India as they do in the United States or other countries, given that they are undoubtedly aware of the nature and structure of the Indian market.

Thus, if superior technological alternatives exist, the government should allow Starlink to enter the Indian market and leave it to the people to decide which option best suits their needs.

Certain remote areas of India—such as the mountainous regions of the Northeast, dense forests, or high-altitude locations—remain beyond the reach of internet connectivity. Residents and visiting tourists alike face numerous challenges in these areas, particularly the difficulty of maintaining contact with the outside world. Will internet services in our country (such as Jio, Airtel, etc.) ever truly reach these remote regions? I have personally encountered such issues myself. I believe that instead of merely criticizing or drawing comparisons with the United States, both the general public and the government should reflect deeply on this matter and strive to find a solution with patience and prudence.
