We who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ must reclaim #Epiphany.
This day is about light—as John says, “the light is shining in the darkness, and the darkness will not overcome it!”
Epiphany reminds us that we must reclaim a way of being Christian that actually looks something like Jesus.
We do so by reclaiming the way of Jesus--God’s way of love. And we must continue the work to create Beloved Community here in this country and around the world.

“Christmas stories are reminders that Jesus came to show us how to love as God loves. One of the ways we do this is to help #Refugees--those who seek asylum from political tyranny, poverty, famine, or other hardship."
He cared about people deeply. He served his country and humanity nobly. He loved his family and his God unswervingly. As Jesus says in the New Testament, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
