Thanks for your patience - we have started adding all the photographs from the trip to a folder in SharePoint. More info in this weeks parent newsletter. Still waiting on a couple of ski instructors, hopefully ready before Friday.
Off the ferry and enroute to Trinity. Expected to arrive on time at 8am. It would be brilliant if a few students could help staff move extra crates and bags we took as well as an injured Mr Holvey’s bags! See you all soon!
Day 5 comes to a close and lots of excitement and some great photos from our resident hot chocolate hermit, Mr Holvey. Tomorrow sees a long morning session of skiing, a shower, bag packing and our return journey beginning....
Good morning, Day 5 - We’ve had another cm of snow which will excite our newly promoted intermediates who will be straight up the mountain today. Our beginners have all progressed onto the steeper green slope and our advanced are getting everywhere! Smiles all round.
Day 4 and we are seeing some light snow. Everyone loved Innsbruck and tonight we’ll take all those who want to for a swim (it is heated! - but they keep asking.)
Good morning all - day three starts with a light dusting of snow overnight. Students earned themselves an extension to their curfew by working as a team, great to see older ones helping younger ones. Lots of photos being taken, I’m collecting them all. Will distribute on return.
Good morning from Austria. Day 2 weather is warm, sun is shining and good progress all round. It will be movie night tonight - very contentious topic - which film to watch???
What a day! Beginners are no longer.... intermediates realise they had forgotten most (and spent the day refreshing!) and a few of our advanced skiers had a truly unique experience. Our instructors are exceptional and they might be tired, but they are all smiling!
A beautiful morning in Axamer Lizum. Great photo Ms Searle! Might have been a bit quiet over night, they survived a whole 10 hours without any screens (some very reluctantly!) we are all getting reading to go up. They’re excited!
We have arrived! We had lunch on arrival and we’ve allocated rooms. A few wobbles - expect a call or two - stay strong parents, they need to trust us to help sort any issues. I’ll try and get a group photo out with the next tweet before dinner.
It was the night before skiing and all through the land, all the teachers were trying to get as much sleep as they can! Don’t forget to drop bags off in the morning, students to take them straight to F5 where I’ll be waiting.
Lots of parents asking via email.... yes students should bring their bags to school, we’ll lock them in a room for the day. It will be exceptionally busy in the car park and we will be pressed for time, I would ask that parents don’t plan on arriving at school to wave us off.
