@NekNamirrem@mattyglesias Look at the sources of GHG emissions and how the sources can be decreased. NY having free busses is a completely irrelevant thing to care about.
@gregoryblotnick This part of boomerism is actually good in my opinion. Globalist companies in your own city sucks. Sure, there’s all the great things that are improved by it… new restaurants, amenities, etc.
But globalism slowly corporatizes until every small business is destroyed.
@vro_ha@Mashiro_yuh You'll be publicly shamed in Japan too. You just won't be shamed for reading it. Same way middle aged women read twilight in the anglosphere when that was popular, it's a little cringe-worthy, but not that big of a deal. Westerners think loudly demonizing X is the solution to X.
@Msamalam@Noahpinion People who do republican-coded things felt marginalized. That made her a symbol of resistance for them. Doing left-coded things is normal in popular culture so you don't notice those political statements.
I can see why they feel marginalized tbh.
@WhatAre89137327@Sangeli7 Lol, one second they'll starve if they don't do it, the next second they're forced to do it only because gluttonous Americans and Europeans.
The mental gymnastics are amazing.
@evagreiner8@TheBlackWallaby@shaunodwyer There's only one expansionist country threatening to use force to expand territorial control. The free world will protect the right to self-determination of the Taiwanese people. Freedom will prevail against Chinese neoimperialism.
@evagreiner8@TheBlackWallaby@shaunodwyer If that's what Yasukuni is in your head, that's your problem.
Putin is a war criminal and Xi gets along with him.
An unprovoked invasion of Taiwan would constitute a war crime in the eyes of most internal observers.
Where's the outrage reserved for war crimes there?
@claudes24060374@BeijingDai It's not even a real post. The Japanese is extremely unnatural. Chinese social media is full of rage bate encouraged by the government for public opinion control.
