#SpelmanFaculty Oh wow, in @DRLEE1881 session I just learned about "Screenr", which I can use to record 5-minute mini lectures. AWESOME!

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

The best quote in Dr. Lee's session on Flipping the Class is "lecture is best used to inspire, not to [just] inform"

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

What I love about learning these digital technologies is that we show students that faculty are lifelong learners! #SpelmanFaculty

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

#SpelmanFaculty I am excited about engaging millenials to increase their learning of math using "flipping", twitter, wikis, & polleverywhere

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

#SpelmanFaculty Dr. Qin"s and Dr. Lu's session on GoogleDocs is standing room only!

@SpelChem I am worried about "evil" things done during math classes. I do not know why everyone doesn't love math! :-)#SpelmanFaculty

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

@AditiPai1I'm definitely going to Dr. Lee's session as well as one on Dropbox, GoogleDocs,...Dr. Qin has sent work already:) #SpelmanFaculty

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

#SpelmanFaculty Dr. Franklin's presentations on "buffet of tools" was fantastic! I'm excited about implementing these tools in math courses.

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

T Inniss @SpelmanCollegeif students see how math and science are applied to the real world, then they may be more motivated to pursue

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

T Inniss @SpelmanCollegeIn math dept, we have a grant where research and mentoring are emphasized. goal is to expose to different careers

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

T Inniss @SpelmanCollege It is important to be encouraged to pursue STEM Careers and to be mentored by other women of color.

[Tasha R. Inniss @trinniss]

@SpelmanCollegeI think it is a matter of exposure...we have to do a better job of informing our students about the different career options.
