🚨 FAKE NEWS ALERT 🚨
This video has absolutely nothing to do with recent high school student protests.
It is actually footage from a pro-Palestinian demonstration held in Paris back in June 2025 calling to "Free the Gaza Flotilla". Don't let out-of-context media mislead you!

I condemn Hamas completely — the atrocities of October 7 were inhuman and monstrous. Israel has every right to defend its population and prevent such horror from ever happening again. BUT the full‑scale war in Gaza was not the right response. It looks less like a strategy of protection and more like a reaction of revenge. Israel says there was no alternative, yet no serious analysis was done on how October 7 was even possible, or how the massive security failures could be corrected. The result speaks for itself: Israel is now more isolated and hated than at any time since 1945, even among younger Americans. People mostly see Gaza’s destruction, hear extreme statements from some Israeli officials, and draw conclusions without understanding the full context. And meanwhile, we waste time arguing about whether the term ‘genocide’ applies or not. This semantic fight prevents any real debate about what happened, why it happened, and how both sides perceive the conflict. Condemning Hamas and questioning Israel’s strategy are not contradictory. It is possible to reject terrorism and still believe that the chosen response was a mistake — and that understanding each other’s viewpoint is the only way forward.
I fully condemn the atrocities of October 7 — nothing justifies the massacre of civilians. But historically, during events like Pearl Harbor or other wartime attacks, the perpetrators did celebrate at the time. Today, some Palestinians might celebrate not because the crimes were justified, but because they are still fighting for rights they believe were denied. Explaining this dynamic is not supporting the celebration — it’s trying to understand the reality behind it.
