When you think 'hmm, how do we increase transit usage', do basic routing to destinations like this and compare the difference in transit vs driving. Ask yourself, why would any sane person take a 300% increase in commute time.

This is absolutely true. When I lived near the max line with a train every 15 minutes, I used to take it every time I could. Now that I live near bus transit and need to transfer to buses that come every 30 minutes, i have not used it and don't plan to.
