Spent the day hiking Mount Tamalpais after 3 inches of rain

I’ve been going to Devils Gulch for over 40 years to watch salmon and steelhead spawn. Today I saw at least 12 salmon. Most I’ve ever seen in this short stretch of stream. Wild and wonderful

Made my annual hike up Devils Gulch today, Samual P Taylor SP. The red and pink ribbons mark salmon spawning areas. No need for them today. The fish were abundant and noisy
