An election was held in the Republic of Korea on June 3, 2026.

At several polling stations, ballots ran out, and voters were forced to wait endlessly without being able to cast their votes. An unprecedented situation occurred in which vote counting and voting took place at the same time. Something that should never happen in a democratic country has happened.

The people’s right to participate in elections has been violated, and this has caused great anger among the public.
