A mixed bag of winter weather is still expected tonight and Wednesday morning. Sleet is already occurring in OKC and expect this to continue into our area with some snow likely as well. It will turn to rain... https://t.co/tgQns1ngb5
Not much change from what we posted this morning. A mix of rain, sleet, snow and freezing rain looks possible. It might start out as snow and or sleet or a mixture before eventually turning to all rain during the... https://t.co/IhbCmhgITu
More rain is headed towards Green Country. There could be a mix of precipitation very late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as well. Any snow accumulations would likely be light should they occur at all.... https://t.co/vsyzB13TlN
Increasing areas of rain overnight thru Friday! Temps will stay above freezing for all of us except maybe far NW Osage County but they’ll warm up as well. Highs on Friday in the 40’s. That’s it, not all that exciting here in NE Oklahoma!
Clouds had a huge impact on temps today. 49 at my house for a high, Pryor managed 60 thanks to the sun. We may have the same challenges tomorrow, we shall see. If we see any sun at all tomorrow it’ll warm up... https://t.co/0xJgGcAbk6
Well, that was an interesting 2 days of weather. Osage County was likely the big winner with the snow accumulations. Around Tulsa and our surrounding communities, amounts varied big time over short distances. We... https://t.co/3duiSSXPuP
Good evening! Obviously it's January but it's starting to feel more like April. Moisture return is pretty impressive for this time of year and by tomorrow morning we'll likely see dewpoints in low 60's. This will... https://t.co/3kHeffu41t
Sorry gang, no time for an update at the moment. I'll try to get to it this afternoon or evening. Isolated severe weather Friday and light snow on Saturday is still possible.
As you would expect, model data is still not agreeing on our incoming system for Thursday thru Saturday. For now, showers look possible on Thursday with rain/storms looking like a very good bet on Friday.... https://t.co/kZMWAkfpa0
Another stellar week coming up as far as the weather goes. The wind will likely pick up on Wednesday so our fire danger will go up as well. Rain looks possible towards the end of the week heading into the weekend.... https://t.co/yejGCHwl7w
Thanks to everyone who shared our post yesterday. There was a small chance of an isolated tornado and it may have happened on the far SE side of Broken Arrow near Oneta. There was damage in that area but it's yet to... https://t.co/6aJXZsFThO
*Severe Weather Update*
Widespread rain showers are occurring across the entire area this morning. I do expect a line of storms to move in later this afternoon and evening. It appears several of the storms could... https://t.co/cF8WfAa817
Expect an increase in showers by Saturday morning across most of the area. A few scattered storms are also likely to develop into the afternoon and spread into Arkansas by evening. It's not out of the question a... https://t.co/k76XiLZ0kR
Expect more widespread dense fog Monday morning! High temps could be affected depending on how long it takes to burn off! It took until after 1 to 2pm for some areas to clear out today. Longer than we anticipated!
Looks like this pesky clouds will stick around on Saturday. Sunday should see more sun with a nice warm up Monday thru Christmas with temps in the 60’s.
It appears a wet pattern will develop after that but I... https://t.co/Y8QkXZELHG
If you're a fan of winter weather then you won't like the extended forecast. It appears we'll be in for a warming trend that will likely last past Christmas. It would appear our chances of a white Christmas are slim to none and I'm leaning heavily towards none.
