For those who enjoy baked lighting in their projects, PSXEffects will soon support both realtime and baked global illumination with the Enlighten/Progressive CPU/GPU lightmappers along with many other lighting/performance improvements! Stay tuned! :)
Inspired by Half Life: Alyx's new contained liquid shader, I decided to try it out myself in Unity. "Volumetric Liquid" will be coming soon to the Asset Store! I'll post more screenshots in the replies. :) #madewithunity#screenshotsunday@madewithunity@unity3d
Dithering in PSXEffects has also been updated to implement the exact pattern and look-up method that the PSX uses for its hardware dithering. You will still have the choice to use the previous texture-based dithering method if that fits your project.
Introducing Texture Cruncher, an upcoming feature for PSXEffects that allows you to retro-ify textures with ease directly in the Unity editor! Great for any retro-themed project. Get PSXEffects here: https://t.co/SH1RwzsKGw #unity3d#gamedev#PlayStation
Liquid Shader is now live on the Asset Store! Complete with a highly customizable glass and liquid shader, you will be able to easily add contained liquids to your game or project. Check out the video on the store page to see it in action!

@ADSStone AFAIK, it should work if the Standard shader works in VR. I don’t have a VR headset of my own to know 100%, but if Unity’s default shaders work in VR, then PSXEffects should work as well since it’s on the same render pipeline and uses some of the same methods.
The package will also come with a glass shader that blurs and distorts the background using a grabpass and allows for roughness maps, normal maps, and textures to be applied. (Surprisingly, this shader is not transparent!)
Shaking or rotating it will produce bubbles and foam on the top. It also refracts the surroundings distorting a reflection probe. Like most of the shader's features, the meniscus at the top can be adjusted to a wider curve or to have a taller "edge" (the dark part at the top)
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Asset Store Spring Sale! A new update to PSXEffects will be out soon that brings a whole new Example Scene to the table.
