@reggiefilms @notacrankychef They made scalping… well they made selling for more than you paid for a ticket illegal here in Ontario just because of World Cup so now when we can’t go to a hockey or football game we will lose money on tickets because of the fees so I’ll be subsidizing stranger on tickets. 🫠

I was trying for Platinum at MGM but missed thinking I’ll go elsewhere if they don’t give a 💩.

@kadie1414 Maybe I’ll do that on my next visit then. I did that once at Virgin when it was run by Mohegan Sun & that guy got back to me and comp’d me the entire week. I was shocked since my host did nothing but she would always hunt me 😂 in the casino to talk about what she’d do for me.

@TxdoHawk Yup! I remember as a ‘teenager’ gambling for a weekend stay in Vegas with $100 that ended up paying for my trip and my parents flights too. Vegas was great in the 90s. I think the ‘penny’ slots was the start of the slot decline.

@kadie1414 Good to know. Thanks! 😊 I paid to stay there once just to get my points for Delta status. 🤣 I loved the attention to detail in the hotel but never got any good email offers after my visit. I get free rooms most other places (or almost) now. I wonder the spend I’d need there?

@SevenOutPod Oh wow. I can’t imagine a place not allowing a switch honestly that seems like bad business. I’m so mad as I didn’t book waiting on the host, that I never want to go to MGM again but I’m at a level I’ll probably never get to ever again. 😂 I’d like to actually use what I earned.

@ATXVegasFan @CrapVegas Thanks for the info! I’ll take a look. I seem to get stuck with female hosts that are useless (do they stick women with women?) 😆… my fiance gets way better offers and invites that he can’t even take advantage of. It’s very odd.

@VegasUncomped I was going to go last week to watch some hockey but I guess my host decided they can spam with bulk emails but when I email them I do not exist to get a reply. Pretty disappointed with MGM. I thought I would be treated better at a higher level of status but no. 👎🏻 Disappointed.

@ATXVegasFan If it’s free why not? I won 1st last year at Virgin ($1,000) and only found out by accident that a tournament was going on so I had to book my free stay for it that got me food credit along with free play. I’ve been finalists in many but not as big a win. Free money is great!
