@PolyMarket is cherry-picking sources to force a "Yes" resolution on US-Iran "in-person" meeting markets!

They added "Additional context" citing ONLY Axios & Times of Israel for a "direct, in-person diplomatic meeting" on Feb 6.
4/ So the supposed “consensus of credible reporting” is:

That’s not multiple independent confirmations. That’s one journalist echoed across platforms.
Polymarket’s dispute resolution mechanism has far too many problems and produces a large number of incorrect outcomes. For example:
1. Across multiple markets that are essentially about the same underlying issue, outcomes often depend on which side’s proposer stakes more, turning resolution into yet another gamble.
2. Sometimes no one actually digs into the facts; instead, a small group of people ends up acting as judges across markets on every topic.
3. Clarifications are rushed, poorly substantiated, and incoherent.
It shouldn’t be this way.
@Polymarket
1/ This is honestly embarrassing. The clarification on the Polymarket market about direct US–Iran talks in Oman on Feb 6 claims there’s a “consensus of credible reporting.”
Let’s look at that “consensus.” 🧵
@Polymarket "Face-to-face" claims (Axios, partial Times of Israel) are outliers - debunked by Iranian sources as just a formal greeting.
Rules explicitly exclude third-party relaying & brief greetings. Consensus of credible reporting = NO qualifying in-person meeting.

@Polymarket@Polymarket
Most credible media (AP, CNN, Reuters, Guardian, BBC, Al Jazeera, Jerusalem Post) confirm: talks were indirect, mediated by Oman — separate meetings, shuttle diplomacy, message relaying. NO direct US-Iran interaction during actual negotiations.
@Polymarket Market rules EXPLICITLY exclude "meetings through a third-party relaying messages" and require direct in-person interaction.
This is selective sourcing - should resolve to NO!
Traders deserve transparent markets.
