Super Mario Galaxy 2 contains an unused "joyful zone" area that, when entered, causes Mario to be unable to stop running and somersaulting. I have enveloped the entirety of Starship Mario in a joyful zone for demonstrative purposes.
@JayHezexel theyre always talking abt "well when i was 12 i figured it out on my own" Yeah when u were 12 the internet was entirely different u dumbass 😭😭😭
computer savvy people piss me the fuck off 24 fucking 7 because theyre always up their own ass abt how other people should go and just google how to torrent and figure shit out on their own when we all know damn well that google has not been useable in the last 5 years at all LOL
I'm not the authority on what qualifies as a twink or not but I've been saying for forever that Lucio is definitely the closest we have to one in the Overwatch cast & ppl always call me crazy for it 😭
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 talking about plot points and stuff. I could be completely wrong about everything and Toby would just subvert my expectations completely, but it's hard not to notice some similarities between the two works (outside of small direct references)
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 I'm not telling you to read it, but I am referencing it just cause Toby is very much a fan of Homestuck and has worked on and referenced it in Deltarune and Undertale. You don't need to read Homestuck to enjoy deltarune at all but i think its worth taking it into account when-
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 where in Homestuck basically a character's/villain's "power level" is determined by how aware they are that they are in a webcomic
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 I think the idea behind that is something along the lines of "Everything that is outside the player's vision does not exist" or is "unloaded". But I'm unsure about that. I'm not sure if you've read Homestuck but it reminds me of the "layers of reality" there-
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 idk if i explained it well enough but thats kind of (normally) the idea behind a story like this. Like oh i dont care that we live in a fake video game world, I still love you, yk ? Obviously i cant read Toby's mind but thats my thoughts on it
@Rekkieskat@stiffcorpse00 But the point is that, despite that, the feelings, trauma, and adventure that they went through IS real to them & reality is just what you make of it. Their reality being "fake" doesn't matter because their feelings are real. & Thats all that matters.
