His Excellency Mr. Mansour bin Ali Fahad Al-Shahwani Al-Hajri, Appointed Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Rwanda, presented copie of his Letters of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Olivier Jean-Patrick Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Rwanda, on December 15, 2025.
His Excellency Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, conducted a field visit to several religious and community institutions in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, as part of his official visit to the Republic of Rwanda. He was accompanied by Mr. Ali bin Hamad Al Aida, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Rwanda, and His Excellency Sheikh Sindayigaya Musa, Mufti of the Republic of Rwanda and President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs.
During his tour in Nyamirambo, His Excellency observed the social life and cultural interaction within the community and met with several members of the Muslim community, who expressed their appreciation for the State of Qatar’s interest in supporting religious and educational institutions in Rwanda.
His Excellency Mr. Ghanem bin Shaheen bin Ghanem Al Ghanim, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, held a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Joseph Nsengimana, Minister of Education of the Republic of Rwanda, and Her Excellency Dr. Doris Uwicyeza Picard, Chief Executive Officer of the Rwanda Governance Board, along with a number of representatives from various Rwandan ministries and government institutions.
The meeting was also attended by Mr. Ali bin Hamad Al Aida, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Rwanda, and His Excellency Sheikh Sindayigaya Musa, Mufti of the Republic of Rwanda and President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs. The discussions focused on areas of mutual cooperation.
