@geekcubano@xenappblog I 100% agree. When I first started using Intune I truly thought I was doing something wrong, and even funnier when I’ve trained L1/L2 on my teams who haven’t used it before and I’m explaining that’s just how it is 😂
Skenes Night: He’s due. So here’s the deal. If Paul strikes out 9 or more. Like he did the last time he faced the Dodgers. And the Buccos win. I’ll give away 5 Paul Skenes jerseys. Just follow me. And retweet this post. And you’re good. Let’s go Bucs!
CFB 27 Beta Gameplay Review & Thoughts
- Speedboosting still exists, not as good
- All stunts being added to forms is a W
- There still WAY TOO MANY alignment problems with certain forms (LBs in Nickel Sets cannot be moved via Show Blitz vs Trips/5 Wide/Bunch Wide/Anything Spread Out
All this does is eliminate certain defenses from being meta, forms like double mug, cub, dollar become king.
- Showing Blitz/Pressing overrides your pre set alignment from safety’s and corners (There needs to be a show blitz that affects LBs and only Slot DBs, the players that are apart of the blitz threat)
- Small Pass Lead still exists (harder to get RAC TDs)
- Blitzing seems to be better, O Line are not as good at picking up slot pressure (Big W for defense)
- Run game is less explosive without speed boosting being elite, but more consistent without random D Linemen glitching through untouched
- Cross manning being back is such a Big W
- Route committing affecting Man/Zone and especially match is a Big W
- The new layout for universal and individual adjustments once learned makes manning up people so much faster (not talking about DBs being LT/DPad)
- Still too many instances of a CPU defender swatting what should be an INT or at least an attempt at one (LBs and underneath defenders playing handball/volleyball)
- QB Juking is still EXTREMELY BROKEN AND TRAINS D LINEMEN LIKE BLACK OPS 1 ZOMBIES
- New Zone Aggressive/Conservative setting will be great to have on individual zones, not a fan of it for the entire defense but probably need to spend more time with it
- RPOs and hot routing/untargeting certain defenders is still extremely broken
- Pocket movement feels really really smooth, stepping up feels better with less disengagement from contains
Speaking of contains, still too inconsistencies when it comes to actually doing their job (I don’t care about getting pressure, just keep QB in pocket pls, I’m begging)
- A setting that auto untargets the user…….just built in identifier that once again makes certain defenses worse than others (Stop taking away the defenses ability to disguise pressure)
- New match settings are amazing
- Stemmed up curls are still way too overpowered
Last point, will ruffle some feathers.
Timing a button click is not a skill, doesn’t add skill gap.
Putting the correct route combo vs the predicted defense and then throwing to the correct open receiver is the skill. The only thing that the “Catch Timing” is adding is more contested catches and favorable results for bad decision making by the offense.
You throw to open player, you deserve to catch the ball.
You throw to covered player, punish bad read.
Catch timing is a really cool feature for Dynasty/ Franchise/Sim Football, does not belong in a competitive setting. Oh and those dancing green footballs, screw them🤣🤣🤣.
Overall, can’t take too much from a beta when the most game changing feature (Macros) are not in the version we played. Still feels like every year the beta version we play gets more complete and playable with every year. There are more tools then ever to help defense which hopefully leads to best year of football video games in some time.
Until the Madden Beta.
