Eight years ago today, on September 5th, 2015, two brothers from Lisheen finished 11th in the lightweight men's double at the World Rowing Championships. They took the final Olympic qualification spot on offer for Rio 2016. The start of Gary & Paul O'Donovan's incredible rise.
