@Jeffrey44791220@Limare64@CENTCOM@RapidResponse47 In addition, during these 47 years, Iran has executed tens of thousands of its own citizens when they dare to disagree with the mullahs running the country.
@AZLady1916@DrOz@TheWaProudAunt What I have heard is that he knew he had high blood pressure, but so far we don't know if he knew he had an aortic aneurysm (diagnosed by ultrasound or scans). He probably did not know, otherwise he would have had surgery to repair it before it began to dissect.
@SillySaltyAFVet@DrOz My father had an aortic aneurysm, diagnosed at 70 years old. He had a minimally invasive surgery - not open - they threaded a Dacron graft up from his leg. He died at 91 years, from something else. The surgery worked and the graft held for 21 years.
@fink_joel75048@ABailey27BSU@FamiliarZen@mattvanswol Not malice. Dr. wasn't doing his job to continue resuscitation, evaluate heart rate, establish airway for ventilation, get him on a ventilator & support him medically while his brain heals. Standard medical practice. He called it after only a few minutes. That's not standard.
@fink_joel75048@FamiliarZen@mattvanswol Yes, judgement call. But when you resuscitate, you don't give up when the patient has a pulse which was clearly stated. Doc never used his stethoscope, no EKG which is req'd before death pronouncement. He wasn't dead, he had pulse and was breathing.
@fink_joel75048@FamiliarZen@mattvanswol 15 minutes was a guess by the parents who had been in garage smoking MJ & said the last time they saw him was 15 min. before. People by the pool who saw him there said that he had been in pool about 5 minutes. They were eye witnesses. Parents weren't. And parents were high.
@FamiliarZen@fink_joel75048@mattvanswol That's right. First MRI was not good. Brain swelling, typical. Later MRI after long stay did not show brain damage, only minor bruising. They predicted mobility problems in future with need for Physical therapy for a while.
@fink_joel75048@mattvanswol Doc didn't yet know that he was brain dead. they were resuscitating him. Evaluation of brain function happens later after patient is stabilized. with EEGs etc. When discharged from Phoenix hospital 2nd MRI showed minor brain bruising. Prognosis: mobility problems.
@Angry88patriot@mattvanswol "Accepting new patients." Good luck with that. He's at Mercy Gilbert Hospital near Chandler. People in Gilbert are upset about this doctor. That's supposed to be a good hospital, a Catholic hospital. But it has grown fast.
@Angry88patriot@mattvanswol That's him. Didn't know he had been at East Lansing. I have relatives there. ER treatment was so minimal they left E Lansing & drove 2 days to Cleveland Clinic to get good care.
@Davidid0x@l1nzwright@mattvanswol Doctor heard he was in water 10-15 minutes & prob concluded he was brain dead & resuscitation would be futile. People closer to child by pool said 5 min. Doc should have assessed the child, not depend on a report from an inebriated person who was not a witness.
@Davidid0x@l1nzwright@mattvanswol That's more than negligence. That's failure to practice established medical care in this situation. Which is resuscitation, intubation or trach for a ventilator, and chest compressions. He should have his license pulled. Nurse felt a pulse.
