Today we had a discussion about Norway over-fishing by 40% above what's agreed. This had led to a reduction of 22% in mackerel quota for Irish fishers. The EU must implement the proposed regulation, which can stop this.

Why am I so adamant about having an end to end scheme?

You're looking at needing roughly 60k up front to start rebuilding your own home

The scheme won't facilitate that and many families don't have that money

It's the type of thing that can tear many families apart

Why can't they just design a proper scheme that is based around the cause of the failure that science has clearly uncovered now since 2022? If @DeptHousingIRL @NSAI_Standards @EngineerIreland @HousingAgencyIE followed the science it would clear a lot of this mess up
