Josh Hart ranks tonight as the second craziest basketball night of his life, behind winning a National Championship at Villanova in '16!
"[Jalen Brunson] and [Mikal Bridges] probably will remind you that I only have one and they have two..."
And they did just that a little while ago 😂
Bert was never "just a dog". He was family, my shadow, my adventure companion, and one of the great loves of my life.
Since losing him, I've found myself looking for small ways to honour his memory and keep his spirit present in our home. When I contacted @ffinlaysonart, I hoped for something special. What arrived was beyond anything I expected.
This beautiful felted figure captures Bert so perfectly that it stopped me in my tracks. It feels as though a little piece of him has found its way back home.
It will be cherished forever. Thank you for creating such a wonderful tribute to a truly wonderful boy. ❤️🐾

Couldn't agree more. We'll win this series on the court (even if the refs refuse to call a flagrant on Wemby), not by targeting, harassing, or attacking Spurs fans.
Knicks in 5.
Journalist Katie Phang's lawsuit against Todd Blanche and the Justice department over the withholding of Epstein files, may force Todd to comply in releasing the remaining files. Watch her do it. She is fearless.
I genuinely believe with the Hornet drone and Front Line Kit's latest unjammable heavy hitter, we can close the entirety of russia's medium-range logistics 💪
Support @frontlinekit, win the war.
My dogs came into my life when the doctor told me I had cancer. I went and adopted two long time shelter dogs who had thought no one would ever love them.
I went to the shelter and saw Rich first in the back of the kennel like his life was over I adopted him. Then I saw Ronny and he came up to me and licked my hand. I adopted him.
I felt like I needed companions during this time of pain and unknown. I didn't know what was going to happen but I know I needed love to always surround me and that's what I found in Rich and Ronn .
I needed to laugh and they make me laugh all the time. I needed to cry and they gave me a soft place to do it. I needed a friend and they gave me a paw. I beat cancer and I owe them everything for giving me all the love and compassion I could ever need.
I love you guys you are my everthing ❤🙏
VON DER LEYEN: We propose, for the first time, to ban from entry into the European Union anyone who has served in Russian armed forces since the beginning of the war.
Europe stays off-limits for anyone who has participated in the invasion of Ukraine. As simple as that.
Love this: "Ukrainian soldiers used a "Vampire" drone to evacuate a cat and her five kittens from the frontline. The operation, which the troops dubbed "Operation Meow-Meow," was carried out by pilots from the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade on June 8." https://t.co/2obrP5djtO
I cringe every time I hear "Ukraine and russia exchanged attacks overnight."
Ukraine strikes military targets. russia strikes apartment buildings, hospitals, and civilians.
These are not equivalent actions. And they should not be reported as if they are.
Greetings from Kyiv.
Today, I’m in my favorite bookstore, full of life and sun.
My choice was a yellow book:
🇺🇦 Liubko Deresh, Peacemaker.
I need to read it first before recommending it.
Hope your day is gentle.

A 📝 from Charlotte:
Begging for help keeping our doors open and our animals healthy is always hard and animal welfare supporters are constantly hit with a barrage of requests for assistance. I know my broken-record style repetitions of overwhelming need are probably similar to many others you see. That's true, you won't get any argument from me there. It also doesn't diminish the very real needs here for animals in Afghanistan. So if you have a minute to pause and look at what we do and why we're asking, please do.
In one of the poorest countries in the world where there are no safety nets for animal welfare of any sort and where people struggle and often fail to make ends meet, we are a proactive veterinary, shelter, and sanctuary for companion animals, owned and stray, for working animals, livestock, wildlife, and the communities and individuals who try to care for them. Our two 24/7 hospitals are staffed by 12 licensed veterinarians, a dozen vet techs, and a team of clinic support staff. They make up part of our 125-person team of full time employees, including the many caretakers that help our animals and patients thrive.
Our 17 shelter and sanctuary facilities house over 450 animals in addition to our many clinic patients and we provide high quality free veterinary care every hour of the day, every day of the year. The animals in our care include infants, seniors, special needs animals, and everything in between. We respond to calls for help every day and every night and treat urgent critical care cases every day.
We stretch every donation and we do so much with so little. Our staff have the in-house skills that allow us to provide purpose-built and renovated facilities for a wide variety of wildlife and our cats and dogs live in a kennel free environment, playing in packs each day and sleeping in groups each night with safe, clean roofs over their heads.
The economic and humanitarian crises in Afghanistan mean there is very little local adoption possible right now, so our shelters are very full. Conflict and closed borders and supply shortages have resulted in cost increases for the most basic foods, medicines, and medical supplies we need to operate and save lives. We do ask for a lot each month--rent for 19 properties, salaries for 125 highly skilled staff, food staples for us to cook over 25,000 meals each month, medicines to treat hundreds of animals and perform preventative, routine, and life-saving veterinary care. We ask for a lot, and we stretch every penny.
We operate in the red throughout the month and struggle to pay our bills at the end--every single month. I don't expect that to change overnight. And the headway we have made with sustainable monthly funds (most importantly from our Patreon subscribers, which we would love to grow) is enormous, usually nearly 20% of our monthly operating funds. But the cost of food has doubled since February, medicine shortages cause inflation spikes, and the currency isn't as strong as it was a year ago. So we have to ask for help each month to cover our biggest expenses, and each month you help us reach these goals with generosity, and I know we've been asking for more lately. But the small donations always add up. Every amount matters, every amount saves lives and helps them thrive.
There is so much work and love behind the scenes here. So much effort and dedication. Your support fills bellies, heals wounds, treats pain, and provides safety and peace for animals who otherwise would not ever find it here.
Built at Villanova. Shining on the biggest stage. ⭐️
