Neste sábado, dia 26, o Papa Leão XIV celebrará a Missa no local onde o rei Luís XVI foi executado durante a Revolução Francesa.

The Belgian-Moroccan terrorist Mohamed Bakkali who was sentenced to 30 years in prison for serving as a logistics operative for the ISIS cell behind the 2015 Paris attacks, which killed 130 people, could be released from prison in Belgium.
Bakkali provided hideouts and vehicles to the attackers and was separately sentenced to 25 years for his role in the failed August 2015 Thalys train terrorist attack. He has been imprisoned since November 2015.
His French sentence included a 20-year security period that would have kept him imprisoned until at least 2035, but after being transferred to Belgium in 2023, he became subject to Belgian rules on sentence enforcement and the French security period no longer applied.
Bakkali has already received multiple temporary releases and was granted six 36-hour prison leaves in May. Prison reports cite his good behavior, therapy and deradicalization efforts, while his lawyer describes his conduct as “exemplary.”
