@EndVisaScams Sorry, but America will always welcome global talent.
If you're gonna be butthurt about it, you should get a job yourself instead of scrolling tiktok and getting jealous of foreigners being successful.
@SanDiegoKnight I agree bringing in global talent raises the bar for everyone and keeps America competitive.
Any increased competition from visas is limited to companies open to hiring foreign workers, and those companies benefit from access to the best talent worldwide.
@SanDiegoKnight By your logic. You should actually be advocating for people to have less kids. Because then there will be less demand for all types of jobs.
50 million people have immigrated to America in the last 50 years, and in that period unemployment has actually gone down.
@JobsNowPR You don't know if it's under most circumstances or few.
Your point was that all F-1 visa are exempt from FICA. Don't shift the goal posts now mr.uneducated
@JobsNowPR It's got nothing to do with the visa.
It's written in the tax code that non residents don't need to pay FICA taxes.
For 4 year undergrad and 3 years of OPT, F1 would have to pay FICA for those last 2 years. So your post is False.
