I could've registered them to compendium + use macca to fuse new ones (eg Nuwa) but I think I'm satisfied with how much fun I got out of it.

SMTV was a lot of fun! Spent about 55hrs on 2/4 endings played on normal mode. I tried and died to the DLC fight a bunch of times and really wanted to beat it, but already maxed out some phys null/drain chars and didn't want to NG+ to grind essences...

Honourable mention to XC2 and LoR:CoD because they were just solid RPGs with memorable characters and strong gameplay.

Dishonourable mentions go to Bravely Default 2 for frustrating gameplay, and DeathEnd Re;Quest for a lackluster story and IF's streak of bad ports.

It hit a sweet spot of being fluffy and sweet, with such a "the boring days are the ones we treasure" vibe that I'm still jamming out to the OST to this day! I really need to get back to finishing Ryza 2 though...

My top 3 games of the year: Atelier Ryza, Xenoblade 2, and Labyrinth of Refrain. With a family run-in with covid at the start of this year + personal troubles, just disconnecting from my computer and disappearing into Ryza as my first Switch JRPG was amazing.
