Can anyone answer why @facebook Marketplace includes the sales tax in the total that calculates their 5% selling fee? Why am I being charged 5% on a sales tax the customer is paying? Is this legal?

Dear @Facebook , Marketplace is siphoning potential income from the @usps by setting incorrect default weights to certain items, which the customers are not correcting. Adult shoes RARELY weigh less than a pound!

@USPS Received a 13.3 oz FB Marketplace package that got through our system without a charge-back or postage due. Paid $4 when I should have paid $5.75. I'm confident this is happening 10,000+ times a day. We need more active checks & balances.

@USPS We are losing SO much money from FB Marketplace improperly charging for postage. Nobody I've spoken with are receiving charge-backs for under paying their postage. I received shoes that were over two pounds (should have been $13.50 to ship via USPS on FB) Shipper paid $5.75
