When Canadians are asking how they will feed their families, why would they shoot themselves in both feet? Why hurt their people and their relationship with the US?

@sinclair_geoff @KnightLegg The reason I say all this is because the reason for Trumps tariffs were stated. We negotiated an increase in the quota for eggs, dairy, and chicken MULTIPLE TIMES, and Canada went back on the agreement.

Blows my mind that the hang up in all this is that we want to sell you chicken, eggs and dairy products and every time we make a deal the gov reinstates quotas on those products.

@fordnation I love the Canadian people, I just wished their government felt the same about them. You’d think that when you have record inflation on food you would remove the 200-300% tariff of dairy, poultry and eggs and give Canadians a chance to feed their families.

@xMia5150x @MatrixMysteries They paid less than 10K a year… that’s pretty standard. Probably zero down with mortgage insurance, plus taxes. My first mortgage was 1150/mo with zero down. 13.8k a year and I paid 9k a year in interest for 4 years before any real principal was paid.

@gatorpowerpt @MatrixMysteries I’m on my 2nd home at 33. Bought my first one at 24 and I spent 2 hours reading the paperwork. They are LEGALLY REQUIRED to show you the loan structure prior to signing the dotted line. Why they wouldn’t read anything prior to signing a 30 YEAR LOAN is crazy to me.

@MatrixMysteries Our generation really needs to start making friends and start talking about finances. If you didn’t want to ask your loan officer the questions then at least ask someone that’s bought a house after 2008 how they work so you don’t make dumb complaints on social media.

@MatrixMysteries A mortgage isn’t like a credit card. The first 4 years of my first mortgage was basically all interest payments. I didn’t get true equity in my house until year 5 of my loan and had like 24k in equity in my first home by year 8 of my mortgage.
