Lost in the whole Blaney/Hocevar mess, is Ty Gibbs made a series of worse moves than Carson ever has and I haven’t seen a single complaint about it from anyone 😂

Nobody should be fined, ever. Unless it’s a cheap shot

WHAT?

[Erik Jones @Erik_Jones]

8.18. Forever Rowdy.

There isn't a weekend that goes by that I don't miss seeing him at the track. Kyle took a chance on me, putting me in one of his Trucks over 13 years ago and pushed me to be better every day since. A generational talent, the ultimate showman, and a friend I'll never forget.

Celebrating the racer and the man today. Miss you, brother. #ForeverRowdy

[Carson Hocevar @CarsonHocevar]

i love nascar. never get that lost in translation of passion and criticism of itself. my number one complaint is having to convince people that it’s better in person to make someone become a fan because it’s that big of a difference. i am so over saying that line.

[Matt Weaver @MattWeaverRA]

This sequence, over the span of 20 minutes is just begging people to go do something else.

I'm listening to a scanner so I have things that are interesting to occupy me but if you're super fixated on courting casuals, you can't just give them nothing to watch for half an hour.

One lap stage shootout

By the way, this is the actual race length problem we have at this level

Lengthy caution, one lap shoutout, Lengthy caution

I'm generally pro stage racing but if you think races are too long, this is the real problem

[Carson Hocevar @CarsonHocevar]

@SpireMotorsport @Daniel_SuarezG @Freeway_Ins @Mc_Driver @classicollision @1001Sponsorship they fr let an 8 year old qualify on the front row 🤯

@EricEstepp17 Hill might have gotten dirty tires from the 3 wide, but ultimately overdrove the corner just enough to cause it

For Rowdy.

This weekend in Nashville, NOS Energy and @StenhouseJr honor Kyle Busch with a tribute paint scheme inspired by Rowdy’s iconic NOS Energy design.

A champion. A legend. Thank you for everything, Kyle.

Dale Jr. remembers his friend Kyle Busch.

[Ponypants @trkpony]

It feels like my entire life has been the privilege of watching Kyle dominate my hometown track, been a fan for so long I cannot comprehend that the sight before me is real. Will miss you Rowdy.

In just the first five months of 2026, nine major shrines and temples have burned across Japan.

・January 15: Suga Shrine, Kitakyushu, Fukuoka
・February 7: Horenji, Matsuyama, Ehime
・February 13: Hottoji, Kuma Highland, Ehime — 1 person died
・February 20: Shorinji, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi — 5 people died
・April 24: Renshoji, Toyama City, Toyama
・April 27: Uruwashitsune Shrine, Nabari, Mie
・May 6: Furumachi Atago Shrine, Niigata City, Niigata
・May 16: Daishoji, Takaoka, Toyama
・May 20: Reikaido at Itsukushima Shrine, Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima (World Heritage site)

These are not ordinary fires.
Many of these sacred places had stood for hundreds — some over a thousand — years.

I’m not a politician.
I’m not an activist.
I’m just an ordinary Japanese who loves this country.

Every time I see another irreplaceable piece of our history and culture go up in flames, I feel a quiet fear.

Japan was supposed to be the one place where this kind of thing almost never happened.

When did our temples and shrines start burning one after another?

Amen
