When are our media & arts institutions going to grow a back bone and not be spooked by lobbyist letters making vexatious and defamatory claims. Have we learned nothing ? Are these institutions more concerned about cranky letter writers than war crimes they seek to distract from?
In Gaza, Israeli commanders reinterpreted the requirements of international humanitarian law. They "vastly expanded" the permissible target list and "loosened restraints on civilian casualties." The result has been devastating for Palestinian civilians. https://t.co/kHzLt0FEot
@punterspolitix@AlboMP@PeterDuttonMp Mate, you are doing a great job. Please continue with your great clips.
You should seriously consider running as a Greens candidate or as an independent.
Please think about it and put your hand up ........
Earlier this week, I received my 10th (& last) dose of a personalised anticancer vaccine. It started more than a year ago. Whilst on each occasion I had quite a sore arm for few days afterwards, thankfully I otherwise felt fine/had no systemic complications. I hope the vaccine can stimulate my immune system to fight my wretched brain cancer. But who knows if it is effective.
As has happened with each vaccination, I also had approximately 150ml of blood taken for research purposes! Many thanks to everyone involved and their kindness & care.

OPINION: Having spent considerable time navigating Australia’s healthcare system, I’ve seen firsthand how broken it is. Instead of tackling its core issues, Labor is pouring more money into what feels like a bottomless pit. While their approach sounds compassionate, it’s ultimately complacent, ignoring the inefficiencies that are choking the system.
Our healthcare system is plagued with long waits, overburdened emergency departments, and struggling bulk-billing clinics. Yet Labor’s solution is to throw cash at the problem without addressing why it’s failing. This isn’t reform; it’s just delay. True progress requires a focus on outcomes, productivity, and accountability—not unchecked spending.
Healthcare should be fair, but fairness doesn’t mean wastefulness. Reform should ensure resources go to those who truly need them, promote personal responsibility, and reward innovation. Every dollar should deliver measurable results, not just pad political soundbites.
Labor’s free-for-all approach risks creating a bloated system that’s unsustainable for future generations. We don’t need band-aids on a broken foundation. It’s time for real reform that prioritises efficiency, sustainability, and results—before it’s too late.
