There's a big, nasty storm near Kadoka with a history of winds of 75+ as well as golf ball hail. It is moving SE, so the Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been extended into Nebraska overnight.
9:30 PM update: While there have been a couple isolated large hail reports in western South Dakota, conditions continue to point as a broader area of severe thunderstorms later tonight. Projections continue to have strong thunderstorms erupt in central South Dakota around midnight, possibly containing hail. But as the clusters congeal and move SE the threat will probably transition to damaging winds. We continue to believe those storms will approach Sioux Falls around 3 AM. If things go as we expect, we'll be manning the Storm Center during the overnight before turning over control to the KELOLAND This Morning crew.
We could be in for a night of rough weather while you sleep. Most of the problems are expected after midnight. Strong thunderstorms should move out of central South Dakota to the SE, coming through Sioux Falls and the tri-state corner around 3 am or after. These are somewhat rare in that the strongest storms will be occurring overnight. The main threat will be damaging winds, but other forms of severe weather - including pockets of heavy rainfall - will be possible. If these storms develop as we think, it is very possible we'll be on KELOLAND TV live from the Storm Center overnight. Stay tuned.
We're expecting another round of severe thunderstorms in eastern KELOLAND. Tornado Watch in effect for Wednesday until 10 CT. Large hail and pockets of heavy rainfall are also possible in addition to the tornado threat in eastern KELOLAND this evening.
I know all the MN sports fans were watching the @mnwild game. But the @Twins managed only 2 hits in 11 innings and beat Cleveland highly improbably 2-1.
@BizNasty2point0 Did you guys in the studio even see the replay proving Benn was never touched by Faber's stick - or anybody else's - before that power play. Totally faked it. I can't believe you would have accepted that as a player.
I'm sadly aware that a good number of my bots here are suspended. Getting any responses from my X employee contacts has yet to yield fruit. This could be the end of iembot as I am getting too old and this is so painful to keep running without X @Support help or @XDevelopers
