“Happiness is a mood and it’s a condition, not a destination. It’s like being tired or hungry, it’s not permanent, it comes and goes, and that’s ok. And I feel like if people thought of it that way, they’d find happiness a lot more often.”
We lost a member of our team today, Chance Black. He was shot and killed, along with his friend, while duck hunting on Reelfoot Lake. Chance was a full-time manager in our gun department. Death is certain and so is our hope in Jesus. No duck is worth the life of a man.
What it comes down to, we all just want to be loved. Not the kind of love you have that eventually wears off. But the kind of love that is unconditional and that doesn’t change no matter what, even when things get hard. A ride or die love.
