Shaykh Rabī (رحمه الله) said:
When they saw the liveliness and growth of the Salafi methodology, they waged war against it and recruited people from within the Muslims—and even from within the ranks of the Salafis—to fight it in order to divide them. So due to the heedlessness of many youth, a great number of them fell victim to this plotting and scheming.
They responded to the deceptive calls that claimed to be Salafi, while in reality seeking nothing but to strike at Salafiyyah and tear its people apart. Some of them even openly advocated division and took pride in doing so.

📝 Reflections on the Ahl al-Ḥadīth Association Event at the University of Alberta, Edmonton
Yesterday, we had the pleasure of visiting our noble brothers @AhlulhadithUOFA for the second time in as many years. They are a diligent group of Muslim youths who are active in calling to the Kitāb and Sunnah on campus and in the local community by hosting webinars, small lessons, distributing pamphlets and providing youth outreach. The idea for their organisation was borne out of the necessity to reach the youth in Edmonton and the initiative of few brothers has grown to include many in a short space of time.
We first met our noble brothers when they requested to join the 🍁 Canada Webinar Series. They have been very active in seeking to grow the daʿwah, may Allāh reward them and aid them.
Their activities and those of other youth groups that have popped up such as @AlBasirahBurly (Burlington, ON.) and @DarUsSunnahKW (Kitchener-Waterloo, ON.) are great examples of how daʿwah can be initiated with simply a sincere desire to aid the call to Allāh and the will to raise the banner of tawḥīd, and Allāh's aid is sought.
Lastly, we thank our noble guest speaker, Sh. @AbuHafsahKK for visiting Western Canada. We ask Allāh to return him home to Maryland safely and we look forward to seeing him in July at the Canadian National Summer Conference إن شاء الله.
We are very pleased to have @AbuHafsahKK and our brother Umar Irlundee here in Calgary for this beneficial lecture on the importance of sincerity in Da’wah and building communities.
بارك الله فيكم
Wonderful to visit @maksunnahyyc again, this time with Sh. @AbuHafsahKK. So much progress in the community, a great group of brothers. May Allah reward them for their efforts. We look forward to visiting again in August إن شاء الله.
