i read everything i could find to educate myself on what happened to mina. she was an engene that was bullied and harrassed into tragically taking her own life tonight while on livestream. i won’t speak much on the details, but rather, the parts i believe to be applicable to all of us that engage in fandom spaces and interact with one another.

repeatedly, it is highlighted and proven that words have a severe impact. words are inevitably harsher when the one writing them is hidden behind a screen with no visible identity or fear of apparent consequence. the moment one considers themselves to be untouchable, they like to test the limits of what is deemed acceptable.

i believe that every single person who commits an act of cruelty through actions and/or words should face punishment, or at minimum, guilt. unfortunately, people who are capable of doing such acts often feel no remorse at all.

we are all human beings who have pasts, presents, and daily lives. we have grown into the people we are through our experiences. we face thousands of decisions per day, hundreds of choices on whether to do good, or do wrong. a person needs to have morals and self-awareness.

this situation is being emphasised as a wake up call, because it was the hate of other engenes that led to mina’s passing.

it could happen to anybody. it could happen to someone you know, no matter how strong or sensitive they are. as a person who easily feels hurt and anxious after one singular hate comment, i cannot begin to imagine how mina must have felt in these past few days. dozens of people responded even to her apology with threats, hatred, and vile comments.

these types of comments will always exist. these horrible words are spoken every day amongst people who fight in fanwars, shipwars, and anything, person to person. this isn’t exclusive to one event or one fandom, but all, which is why i’m posting this.

please always know when to step back and realise the severity of your words. please think ten times before deciding your words. defending an idol/someone you love is not wrong. rightfully holding someone accountable is not wrong. but hating? sending hurtful words? death threats? harassment? bullying? attacking someone even a week after they have apologised? those things are beyond wrong. if it wasn’t taken that far, mina would still be alive right now.

every single person who uses their words to hurt others is responsible for the damage those words cause. this is why i believe it’s even more important that we show love for one another, as well as support and kindness, even when it isn’t easy, even when opinions differ.

i am grateful to have a good community on here, but it breaks my heart that any fan should experience such a horrible series of events; and be forced to endure people’s cruelty until the end… this was a person like me, like us. she had a family and recently graduated. let’s not become desensitised to how tragic the death of a young girl is.

Among all the large-scale concerts I've seen, I'd put Stray Kids' "Run It" tour among the very best. So much so that it goes beyond being a "concert" and deserves to be called a well-made "work." It was more than enough to convert people who knew nothing about SKZ into fans. Part of that comes down to how well the show was built, but I think it's also because the members themselves have ripened to full maturity. They know exactly what to do on that stage, and all of it came out naturally in the performance. It felt like a well-constructed show colliding with artists who understand precisely how they look their best on stage, and that combination is exactly what Stray Kids is.

In terms of vocal delivery and technique, he said they had come a long way even compared to "dominATE," summing it up simply: "They were phenomenal on stage."

I came with several people from the vocal training field, and every one of them was so stunned that they turned to me and asked again whether this was really all full live, not lip-synced. One of them was a vocal trainer trained at Berklee, someone who has seen countless world-class superstars perform in the States. Even he was so completely taken by the show that from the midpoint on he was practically out of his mind, saying, "I've never seen a concert that goes this far."

The backup dancers came across less as "dancers" and more as performers in their own right, filling the space fully enough to hold that title. They raised the perceived quality of the show itself. If the "dominATE" tour was a well-made idol concert, the "Run It" tour carried a much stronger sense of artistry, and I think this kind of support from the dancers played an important part in that.

If "dominATE" was an idol concert done exceptionally well, "Run It" was a show that ran flat out for two and a half hours straight. Apart from a brief intermission of under ten minutes for two costume changes, they ran through all 30 songs without letting up. The setlist was best-of-the-best to the point that you could think of it as a title track medley, with not a single song you'd want to cut. You could tell a great deal of thought went into the arrangements, right down to the narrative dimension. They also presented some of their recent songs in an EDM club mix style, which added to the fun.

Just how much preparation Stray Kids put into this show is clear from "Hellevator" alone. A lot of artists struggle to sing their debut-era songs well. Those are songs they sang when they first appeared in the industry as kids, so everything about them is completely different now. Stray Kids are no exception. That seems to be exactly why they poured so much into this song for the sake of a better show. They took more lessons for it than they had for any previous concert.
