Troy Fryer

Jaded Christian, would-be widower, withdrawn fighter, anomalous misfit. Used to tweet into the abyss about cricket, rugby league/union.

School nickname. Student teacher mispronounced 'Troy', funny teacher dubbed me 'trolley', I reluctantly embraced it. #ExplainYourUsername

@RepStickland Jesus will be more upset at you moral relativists who didn't care when men were the first casualties in that culture war. You are the reason why men are increasingly withdrawing from the Church society altogether. https://t.co/ZYW308jHl8

This applies all the more for 2018, now that @Cricket_PNG and @CricketHK have lost ODI status. The #JLTCup format is perfect for a List A tour, and perhaps games against @CricketAus or Australia A. https://t.co/WYqLnqAS3H

[Troy Fryer @troll3y]

If the #MatadorCup format continues in 2017, @CricketAus should invite @Cricket_PNG and @CricketHK. HK shone in their maiden Aussie 'tour'.

Remember, it's crucial to have a mascot dance-off and Celebration Selfie competition before announcing the teams to everyone at the ground.

I'm at the Big Bash, trying my best not to be grumpy. As always, so long as this is treated foremost like a cricketing event, I'll be happy.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who still makes Kirk Reynoldson jokes after all these years. https://t.co/JqW02nGWCc

[Troy Fryer @troll3y]

Every shot that passes the 30-yard circle is being vociferously cheered. Bangladesh fans go from lax to loud; makes for great atmosphere.
