Actually looking at it....only 2 of the six are meta mons and the others don't really follow the meta movesets except maybe gardevoir? Haven't even gotten into the stat placements.
So I did cave and start using more meta mons like Kingambit and Sneasler. But then again I kinda have a theme going on: medievil royalty? I nicknamed Kingambit "Your Majesty" and I'm running Tsareena nicknamed "My Lady".
I've been already stating this worry since the direct aired. The pattern could be more concerning since two have current spots in the film industry and the other rumored to be as well meaning its the treatment they will be getting for now on i.e Majora into Twilight-Skyward etc.
So totally thought each part was 30 dollars....meaning the entirety of the dlc/Pokopia being something like almost 150 dollars was super intimidating to me. Glad that isn't the case but probably still gonna save for Xenoblade 1-3 Switch 2 editions.
Pokemon Pokopia was already on my list of potential games and seeing dlc peaked it a bit. For some reason however I didn't think Pokopia was a $70 game and seeing the $100 price tag for both has intimidated me away from getting it. I'll save the money when I start Xenoblade.
Anyways I'm certain after all three are released there is a chance there will be a "everything wrapped in one" sold for a slightly cheaper price. Also really would love to trade in my Mario Kart world code for a Pokopia code that was offered at launch.
So I WAS thinking I've been a bit negative on the direct and I think it was an incredible one (and just a lot of worrying that might now come to fruition). Than I see Nin10doland and his reactions and yeah no I'm not really being negative at all. Question if he legit watches
@DreamLeaf5 I'm certain its just me overthinking this and once we see more of this remake I'm gonna be excited. But if Mario 64 does get the same treatment the pit in my stomach of this will only get worse.
if the Star Fox movie is true Fox 64? Since those franchises live in the film industry now what if we only get repainted past games & not any new adventures. I'm confident I am wrong but its 2 for 2 right now (Zelda/Fox) if 64 is hit next its hard to argue against that theory.
I understand the hype around the OoT remake. I really do. However I can't help but not start doom-thinking that Nintendo franchises with movies/rumored movies are going to and only get this treatment. The remake so far looks great but what if its all we get from Mario, Zelda &
It looks great and still have some form of excitement but it being the final reveal kinda took away from it. But I'm certain once new info comes out that could change.
Grounded thoughts on the direct:
-Have to be self centered to not think the direct was great
-Thinking its going to be time to try out Xenoblade. The direct did feel like I was left out for a lot of it but thats on me
-OoT remake didn't hit as hard for me though? For me....
its great to see but I think the positioning made it worse for me? Like revealing KH 4 at the end should have been the hype reveal at the end or the new Xenoblade game. And for me I can't get the idea of a game made again a third time as being insanely hyped.
