The North Dakota Department of Agriculture (NDDA) is moving forward with their 24c Special Local Needs (SLN) label for Xtendimax, FeXapan and Engenia, products used in over-the-top applications on Dicamba-tolerant soybeans. https://t.co/SfmspV0ltW
1. I think this the best way to frame the planted acreage number for corn. USDA reported US corn planting progress as 58% on May 26. With 90 million total acres, that means we planted 37.8 million acres of corn after May 26. #incredible
USDA, where everyone is on the same page.
CORN: WASDE has 90 million acres of planted and FSA shows 85.8 million.
SOYBEANS: WASDE shows 76.7 million acres of planted while FSA shows 74 million.
WHEAT: WASDE shows 45.6 million while FSA shows 46.3 million.
Forecasted precipitation totals through Monday morning, June 3. #Plant19 will continue to be wet across most of the #Corn Belt into the first days of June. #agwx
My biggest miss was Illinois, where 24% of the #corn crop is planted. I had it at 35% based on my calls. The #2 state at 24% vs 89% normally is a BIG deal for the future of this crop. #oatt
