@SteveLovesAmmo The “no bid” contract ballooned from $1.5-2 million to $14.85 million and when completed, science took over…algae bloomed…Hydrogen Peroxide was added to the water to kill the algae and one of the aide effects of that “fix” was it loosened the already poorly bonded paint.

@SteveLovesAmmo The darker color used allows the water to heat faster than a pool painted with a lighter color. Algae in a shallow pool of standing water grows faster in water which is heated to a higher temp and at a faster rate due to the darker background.
It’s SCIENCE…NOT vandalism.
