Today, Greenpeace Malaysia & Himpunan Advokasi Rakyat Malaysia (HARAM) passed a memorandum to the Indonesian Embassy in KL about the current haze.
Together, we are calling for corporate accountability, stronger government action & better transparency regarding the forest fires.
Green activitists urged Indonesia to reveal the names of companies, particularly Malaysian-owned firms, linked to regional forest fires and open burning.
"Jika syarikat Malaysia terbabit, kami akan menuntut kerajaan kami mengambil tindakan. Jerebu tidak berhenti di sempadan Indonesia," said Greenpeace Malaysia.
