बड़ा खुलासा - क्या पूर्व मुख्य न्यायधीश का मोदी सरकार से मिलीभगत थी!!!

सुप्रीम कोर्ट के पूर्व जस्टिस संजय कौल ने अपनी किताब में चंद्रचूड़ को लेकर बड़ा खुलासा किया है।

संजय कौल कई बार सरकार के सामने झुकने से इनकार किया और एक मौके पर तो कमरे से बाहर ही चले गए थे नाराज होकर।

और,चन्द्रचूड़ से तनाव का कारण भी बताया। एक ऐसी सरकार के प्रति व्यवहार कैसा हो,जो अधिक रियायतें की मांग करता है। इस पर मतभेद थे।

1 - न्यायाधीशों के नियुक्ति के मामले में सरकार के प्रति जरूरत से ज्यादा झुकाव रखते थे।

2 - एक बार कॉलेजियम के बैठक होने से पहले ही सरकार की मंजूरी लेने की कोशिश की थी।

3 - एक मौके पर उन्होंने अल्पसंख्यक धर्म से संबंध रखने वाले न्यायधीश पद के उम्मीदवार की जाति को लेकर सरकार की अजीबोगरीब पूछताक्ष का मुद्दा उठाया था।

कॉलेजियम की पहली बैठक में 6 पदों को भरने के दौरान दोनों के बीच मतभेद सामने आए।
बैठक से पहले कॉलेजियम 5 नामों पर सहमत हो चुके थे। लेकिन बैठक वाले दिन चंद्रचूड़ ने छठवें नाम का प्रस्ताव रखा।
अन्य न्यायधीशों ने प्रस्ताव का विरोध किया,कौल जी बताते हैं कि उन्हें संदेह था कि ऐसा सरकार के कहने पर कर रहे हैं। इसके बाद चंद्रचूड़ ने एक कोने में ले जाकर कहा कि "क्या उन्हें सरकार का रुख जानने के लिए फोन करना चाहिए।"
कौल साहब कहते हैं कि उनका संदेह सही साबित हुआ और मैने उनसे समझदारी से काम लेने को कहा।
अंततः 5 नामों की मंजूरी मिल गई।

आगे लिखते हैं कि "न्यायालय नियंत्रण और संतुलन बनाए रखने वाली संस्था है। वह ऐसा रुख अपना सकता है,जो सत्ता प्रतिष्ठान को पसंद न आए,लेकिन वह विपक्ष की ओर से पीछे से लड़ाई लड़ने वाला मोर्चा नहीं बन सकता।"

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive?

Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members?

Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now?
