The UK is falling apart.

▪️7 million people on NHS treatment waiting lists.
▪️Gas storage capacities are amongst the worst in Europe.
▪️Poverty and homelessness are record levels. Around 14.5 million people in the UK live in poverty. 4.3 million are children.
▪️Ongoing cost of living crisis
▪️Crumbling public services and infrastructures.
▪️The UK’s largest food bank network distributed 2.1 million emergency food parcels in 2023, which represents an 81% increase since 2017.
▪️700,000 children attend school at “unsafe or aging” buildings in need of major repairs.
▪️Mental health services in England received a record 4.6 million referrals during 2022 (up 22% from 2019).
▪️ A predicted 7,000 business insolvencies per quarter in 2024.
▪️ The UK is losing a staggering 3 billion litres of water each day through leaky pipes.
▪️Mass-scale solar panels plastered on prime agricultural land.
▪️Supermarkets ripping off farmers and consumers while they show record profits.
▪️ £10bn spent on unused or undelivered PPE.
▪️Culture wars division

It’s a mess. And meanwhile there’s been the biggest transfer of wealth to the super-rich in history and the UK continues to spend £billions on military aid or military interventions.

British is broken. And broken by governments. We have a bunch of jumped up political shysters treating politics like some sort of parlour game. This is not a game. Nor is it in the national interest. A circus filled with clowns, totally detached from the real world.

Britain has been in decline for decades. But what really destroyed communities was deindustrialisation in the 1980s. So many communities were hollowed out when blue collar industries were sold off to the highest bidder, privatised or completely shut down.

The same cause and effect in South Wales, Central Belt Scotland, NE & NW England, Cornwall etc. These industrialised communities previously had purpose, community spirit and the social infrastructures that created a ties that bind mentality and focus. Ever since the deindustrialisation dismantling of these communities, they have been ignored and left to rot. They are disenfranchised and broken.

Until governments actually listen and understand the concerns of these communities and come up with an effective industrial and manufacturing strategy that reboots and repurposes these areas, then the decline will continue. We have an importing rather than exporting economy and it’s helped create an enormous balance of payments issue and a huge decline in individual and community spirit and confidence and left more and more people dependent on the state. The seeds of decline were sown 4 decades ago and have never been revitalised.

Britain faces huge difficulties and we don’t have the calibre of politicians to deal with the issues being faced. We have the most useless, insincere and out of touch politicians and Westminster media bubble ever seen in British history. We are being led by a bunch of self serving fools who are more concerned about scaremongering society into compliance to obtain even more control, feathering their own nests or issuing dodgy contracts to corporations.

Meanwhile, we are all paying our taxes to fund this shambles and and endure an ongoing cost of living crisis while there’s the biggest transfer of wealth to the super-rich in the history of the planet. It’s an horrendously ill-divided world.

We are paying our taxes for crumbling public services whilst financing dodgy PPE contracts, humongous sums of money being transferred to Ukraine and paying for politicians to shit on us with draconian measures. The worst return on investment ever.

An estimated 500 million people have slipped into poverty since the Covid pandemic began, but the wealth of the world’s 2,668 billionaires has risen by $3.78 trillion since 2020. This is the biggest wealth transfer in the history of the planet. Follow the money transfer of corporatism. Ultimately, that’s what this entire shambles is all about.
