and it’s okay to say that Sengun had a horrific defensive season (probably his worst tbh), it’s just what happened. he’s probably not this bad next season but we don’t have to bend over backwards to try and twist his defensive production into something it wasn’t

i hate to be this kind of guy but if you think a 6-game playoff sample of a brand new rim protection metric is overriding the 2.4k minute sample of +5.6% rim accuracy on/off then idk what to tell you

What is so incredibly unfair and a big reason I defend Alpi is because even when the numbers do favor him in any meaningful way, people will say that they trust their "eye test" and completely dismiss it, but if/when the numbers favor their guy it is the purest of truths
