This upgrade is only made possible due to our liquidity unlock schedule and is the major reason for not extending the current lock.

This will allow preservation of metadata between IDs. Having limited IDs will also enable the Troves team to provide onchain gacha and P2E mechanics to the Troves.

Troves team will also be developing special funcitons that will allow you to reroll stats for your Troves without the need to completely destroy that Trove.

To mitigate this issue, we have concluded internally that the Troves contract will be migrated to the new 404 standard by Pandora. This contract contains many QoL features and improvements.

To fully realize this vision, we have discovered that the current 404 contract is not sufficient particularly when it comes to its unlimited ID mechanism.
