I have obtained a copy of a letter signed by @AnthonySabatini, a Lake County, Florida Commissioner and failed Congressional candidate which shows he supports the Florida Islamic Center in Lake County, Florida, which is trying to expand.

This comes as The Islamic Center of Clermont (also known as the Florida Islamic Center according to their website https://t.co/Ufg4LW0BA4) is seeking to rezone 3.69 acres in unincorporated south Lake County (a solidly Republican, majority-Christian area) to expand its facility with two new Islamic halls. The Lake County Planning and Zoning Board advanced the request on August 5, 2026, and commissioners are set to vote on the expansion on September 1, 2026.

County data and reporting show more than 3,400 people are practicing Islam in Lake County as of 2020. The center states its current site has outgrown demand. Opponents of the Islamic center’s expansion cite traffic on narrow roads (Hancock and Johns Lake), noise, and property values as their main objections.

It is worth noting that Sabatini recently endorsed @j_fishback for Governor of Florida and ran @DanBilzerian’s failed campaign committee. Both candidates, who ran on the GOP ticket, campaigned with Muslims, took Muslim campaign donations, and openly advocated for Palestinian causes.

It appears that Anthony Sabatini, who claims to be a Christian and an immigration hardliner is more than happy allowing for Lake County, Florida to be Islamified.

This is a continuation of the growing disturbing trend of so called “Republicans” selling out to Islam. It also explains Sabatini’s open hostility towards Jewish people and his support for openly anti-Jewish candidates.

If you live in Lake County, Florida, (where I previously ran for US Congress) you need to tell your commissioners to vote NO on the Islamic center’s expansion.

If I was representing this district, I’d have the entire Islamic center shut down.
