Data Platform Consultant. Loves putting data together and making it sing. Currently composing in dbt, terraform, Azure and Databricks. Also digs choral music!
Wohooo! Finally @AzDataFactory , no more pre-copy hacks or lookups with DDL-statements. https://t.co/FlXwOWa3t4 Now please also make this be supported by generic ODBC connector. #azure#adf#azuredatafactory
Dear @AzureSupport, I appreciate enthusiastic and eager incident managers and support engineers on Teams. But please, please, please share and digest a form of https://t.co/aXlxIzyBKG to all these customer facing individuals (particularly incl. Mindtree Accenture etc.) thanks!🙏
@mrpaulandrew@DeltaLakeOSS As @GBrueckl said, depends on your usecase. If you want to land in Power Bi the new Databricks connector now has sufficient throughput performance to be able to import large facts, haven’t benchmarked DQ latency yet.
@AzureSupport I have tried to deploy #Purview since last night and after deploying all I get is this 500 error when trying to open the Studio viewer. It works for me in a different tenant.
Excitingly testing the new #AzureSynapseAnalytics workspace and git integration features. It is expectantly building upon the ADF set-up. Does not yet seem to feature Workspace Databases and external datasets (or Power BI reports) #SynapseAnalytics#AzureSynapse#azure#DevOps
@AzureSupport We have the last days encountered instability when deploying notebooks to @databricks using AzureDevOps. Randomly and frequently getting "##[error]The remote server returned an error: (503) Server Unavailable." during notebook deployment. Is this known?
@MS_Ignite I would do from 0 to hero, CI/CD experiences using Azure Data Factory with Azure DevOps and Terraform. Subtitle, 'how to successfully rebuild and migrate a modern data platform one week before going on vacation'
